Elon Musk and his enterprise, Space Exploration Technologies Corporation(SpaceX), have been attracting the attention of INPULSE a lot lately.  At MIT, May 11, 2012, Lucio met with Adam Harris, the Vice President for Government Affairs at SpaceX.  He asked Adam how SpaceX has been addressing issues like managing teams, large data transfer, and knowledge exchange during the process of building rockets and other space products.  Lucio was curious to know if they use any kind of content management system to accomplish these tasks efficiently.  Adam indicated that they still have issues in these areas and that they have tried out several tools across their content management and social networking systems. They even devised one they called Spacebook, an emulation of facebook, dedicated to improving the communication across their team and the knowledge repositories of SpaceX.  He promptly added that they are still working on finding real solutions. Despite the company's internal complexities, on the 25th of May 2012, SpaceX made history when its Dragon spacecraft became the first commercial vehicle to ever successfully attach to the International Space Station.  Read more
